The responsible way to lower your life insurance costs

Jackson National Life Insurance Company

Jackson National Life Insurance Company (Jackson) has three different life insurance products available to individuals and business entities in the United States.

  • Variable Universal Life (VUL),whose cash value changes depending on the financial performance of the investment portfolio;
  • Universal Life (UL), a fixed insurance with minimum guarantees; and
  • Term Life, the most basic type of insurance with relatively low up-front costs.

Within Jackson's VUL product line, there are three plans to choose from:

  • Perspective Investor VUL;
  • Ultimate Investor VUL; and
  • JNL Advisor VUL.

Each of these provides a death benefit, tax advantages, a professionally managed investment portfolio, and a predetermined life insurance account. Jackson advises that these products be funded at higher levels than other forms of life insurance and are best when funded early to take advantage of accumulation potential. The Advisor VUL is a no load product designed for individuals working with a fee-based financial advisor.

Jackson's UL product line features two different options:

  • JNL Generations; and
  • Jackson Accumulator.

These products provide a fixed life insurance payout in the event of death as well as an accumulating account with interest. ULs give guaranteed protection and for this reason are an excellent choice for family coverage.
